34 weeks!

so i am officially 34 weeks today! yay! i'm almost done! i had a check up yesterday and everything with baby is good. at my previous visit i was anemic so my doc started me on some iron pills. there was slight improvement in the past 2 weeks but i will need to continue to take my pills.

so we officially have an arrival date set for january 5th. no particular reason other than its before my due date and i guess my doc is doing surgery that day! whatever! its not like i have anything else going on around then, well other than charlies 30th bday. no party for him this year!

so in about 5 weeks we will get to meet little princess #3. no we do not have an official name yet...charlie says we still have time. what a goober. we have an unofficial name but thats it. i will let you know when it becomes official!

till next time here is me and all my pregnant glory!

Felt Yarn Wreath

So, as of late,  I have been inspired to work on craft projects. What is my inspiration? Not sure, but it has been fun creating new things. So I just finished working on this felt yarn wreath and it was remarkably easy...well once I figured out how to get the yarn unwrapped. Anyways, I am really pleased with how it turned out and how simple it was. I even made the flowers on it...by myself... well Ava did help make one of them. :) I will definitely be making this again!

Sorry the pictures are not the best...just used my iphone since it was right there!

and Charlie didn't think it was very Christmas-y....that's a guy for you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone! I hope everybody had a fantastic Thanksgiving this year! Our family chose to stay at home and we spent a quiet day together. We enjoyed a fantastic Honey Baked Ham and homemade sweet potato casserole, beans, rolls and homemade pecan pie. Yummy! We have so much to be thankful for this year...our new home, new car, new puppy, friends and family! After our dinner settled we set up our Christmas tree! Hopefully Olivia won't pull an Ava and pull off all the ornaments she can reach!

Anyways, we wish everybody a fantastic, stress free holiday season! Enjoy!

 Love my girls!

Olivia was tired of me taking pictures at this point and was ready to get away from Ava!

Finally...

So finally after a couple of months in the new house we finally purchased a new kitchen table. I guess you could call it an early Christmas present to ourselves! I can't even begin to tell you how much it has improved the house already! It is more convenient than carrying our plates to the dining room that's for sure! It is a beautiful counterheight table that has 8 chairs and a butterfly leaf that stores underneath the table. I never have to worry about losing it! Whats nice is that the extra chairs we are using as bar stool which works out perfectly! BTW I assembled the chairs mostly by myself! I'm getting pretty handy!

I love my table!

Notice my placemats...I made them myself!

Sunday cleaning...

I usually don't do any extensive cleaning on Sundays since I would rather spend time with the family, however this was a group effort! Charlie (yes my husband) wanted to clean the carpets. Not just vacuum but steam clean them. We bought a steam cleaner many years ago and have used it a handful of times.

First, my job was to reassemble the vacuum cleaner. Yes you read right. I broke it the other day...wether it was user error or old age but the belt broke. I got the replacement belt and some new filters for it yesterday so I had a fresh vacuum...almost like new! While I was doing that Charlie enlisted Ava's help to move furniture. Again you read right. Ava was placing sliders under the feet on the couches so Charlie could move them. Time to vacuum.

After I finished the vacuuming we attempted to steam clean...however due to some unforseen issues it took longer than anticipated to get started. It wasn't squirting water into the carpet properly. Whatever, Charlie kind of fixed, enough so that we were able to clean the carpets and voila...the carpet is fresher than when we moved in! We had to do this because of Jetta...its not easy house training a puppy!

The pictures were taken while the floor was drying...hence Charlie playing his new video game!

 Clean carpets!

FYI the floor is now dry and all the furniture has been placed back in its home!

Muddy Buddies!

I love these things! They are yummy and fun to make...especially for kids. Ava and I took about 20 minutes this afternoon and made them. Her favorite part was shaking the bag of chex mix into the powder sugar!  Nothing better than chocolate...peanut butter...and powder sugar all in one little bite!

Recipe came from the back of the chex cereal box!

Baby Shower!!!

I'm a little behind with this one...just a week though! My wonderful sister and best friend threw me a baby shower back in Auburn last weekend. Me and the girls(including Jetta) made the 3 1/2 hour drive over and spent the weekend at my parents where the party was held. We had a good turnout and I got to see some people that I hadn't seen in a long while! I love catching up with my friends! The food was good, the company better and the games were just fun! It was also fun because Ava and Olivia had a little boy to play with, Logan. He was a lot of fun and I'm so glad Brandi brought him! Of course I didn't get a good group picture before people started leaving...oh well. Here are a few shots from the weekend and a video of Olivia acting scared of balloons...of which she is not really...don't know what got into her that day!

Thanks everybody for coming out and helping us celebrate baby girl #3! BTW...I think we have a name pinned down but I am not going to hold Charlie to it just yet...he says we still have 8 weeks...such a guy!

So here is Olivia acting scared of balloons...its just a short clip of what she was doing but still funny!

Dirty diaper game with my mother in law and mom!

My turn at guessing what was in the dirty diaper!

My friend Amy from college and Audrea's mom Kathy! Look at those fun decorations Audrea made! So crafty!

 Olivia the ham...attempting to color!

 Amy and myself!

My sister and Ava playing with balloons.

Audrea, myself and Amy.

Probably the closest to a group shot! Here my mom and I are racing to see who can drink from a bottle faster...let me tell you its not easy drinking from a bottle! Shout out to my friend Brandi on the right! So glad you could make it!

It was hard to drink and I couldn't help but laugh...btw my mom beat me!

Audrea, I borrowed some of your pictures! I thought this was cute, you got all my girls in it!

 Olivia the little witch!

End of the night photo! So cute!

thanks again everyone! xoxo!

painted gourds...

so my mother in law has more craftiness in her little pinky than i do at all. she makes such amazing things its always fun to see what she will make next. one of her more recent projects was for megan's wedding. lynda was making centerpieces for the tables out of gourds. i can't remember how many she made but there were at least 10 that she came up with the design, carved and then painted it. i was lucky to be able to take home 2 from the wedding. charlie picked out one and i picked out the other and believe me it was hard to choose they were all so stinkin' cute! i know its after halloween but yes my gourds are still on display at my house...and no i am not lazy and haven't gotten around to taking them down!

thanks lynda!

 this was my choice!

lights can go inside this one and light up the witch!

 love it!

pumpkin patch jail! complete with working doors so you place lights inside! also the top comes off of this one!

The Wedding Video

Charlie made the video from some clips he shot at the wedding.  Enjoy!
