Olivia's Birthday Party

So this past Sunday we had family over to celebrate Olivia's second birthday and Harper's baptism. I'm a little behind on posting this due to a certain book series...hmm...Fifty Shades...cough...anyways, no that I have finished the rest of the series my life is free to move on. Back to the baptism and party. So I chose to combine the 2 since we are 2 hours from the nearest family and that way they didn't all have to come out here 2 different times.

Audrea came on Friday so we got to hang out and I put her to good use helping with the preparations for the party. Thanks friend! Melissa and Matt and came next, we were going to take a trip to the lake but with temps around 105 we figured the dogs would get too hot. My parents arrived next and we caught up and headed out to the Chop House for dinner.

Sunday was the baptism and party day! The baptism went smoothly and Harper did great! After church Charlie, Audrea and I went to stop at Party City to pick up some Dora balloons for the party...well apparently there was a helium shortage and we were out of luck. I mean seriously? How is there a helium shortage? After we got home we finished setting up and had ourselves a party! Woot woot! Presents and cake and yummy food galore!

Let me just say I made an awesome cake! It looked and tasted great. It took a long time to make but I think it was worth it! Oh and I made some marshmallow pops. They were yummy and everyone really like those! Thanks pinterest!

Happy 2nd birthday to my sweet Olivia!
